Malakoff, 31 August 2021 – SPIE ICS, the digital services subsidiary of the SPIE group, the independent European leader in multi-technical services in the areas of energy and communications, will be taking part in the 13th International Cybersecurity Forum (FIC) (Stand F22). Alongside the Industrie division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, and its partners Stormshield, Logpoint and Kalima System, SPIE ICS will be presenting its cybersecurity solution dedicated to industry, a sector that is now particularly sensitive.
A solution to address the challenges of industry 4.0
With industry representing 15% of companies affected by ransomware in France in 2020[1], strengthening cyber protection systems has become a must, with companies also needing to
maintain the highest levels of reactivity in the event of an attack. With this in mind, the industry of the future needs to bring together potentially fragile OT (operational technology) components and IT (information technology) components. Using its expertise in this field, SPIE ICS has developed a global 360° “Cybersecurity as a service” approach structured around four main modules: compliance, digital confidence, control and monitoring, and anticipation.
Developed alongside the Industrie division of SPIE Industrie & Tertiaire, this solution was devised and tested closely in line with business constraints and the requirements imposed by industry 4.0.
“Cyber risks can shut down production chains and considerably weaken businesses. Our global solution has been designed to address the threats to this sector. By developing synergies between our digital and industrial areas of expertise, we are able to offer a high level of protection and reactivity suited to the customer’s situation. SPIE ICS analyses the measures to be implemented in real time and proactively alerts the customer, while the Industrie division is able to intervene on site or remotely in a secure way,” explains Pascal Mavric, Development Manager for the Cybersecurity Solution at SPIE ICS.
Direct cyberattack demo
During the FIC, SPIE ICS will be organising a demonstration consisting of a real-time cyberattack simulation. Here, experts will be on hand to provide key information for understanding the causes and vulnerabilities used as well as specific answers in order to protect industrial systems.
FIC – cyberattack demo
Wednesday, 8 September from 14:00 to 14:30 – Stand F22
SPIE ICS will be presenting the most common causes, vulnerabilities and impacts via a simulated attack.
